Hello! I’m Mark Cross, a lifelong mineral enthusiast with a passion that began in childhood. Some of my earliest memories are of searching for interesting rocks and crystals wherever I could—an interest that started in earnest when I discovered my first tourmaline specimen at the age of 7. I still have that specimen today.

Over the past decade, I’ve focused on collecting and photographing fine mineral specimens, with a particular interest in aesthetic pegmatite minerals and gem crystals. Tourmaline on matrix is a personal favorite—there’s something about the geometry, color, and presentation that captivates me.

This pursuit has taken me across the globe in search of exceptional specimens and the people who share this same deep appreciation. What began as a childhood curiosity has grown into a true obsession, and I’m excited to continue exploring, learning, and meeting fellow collectors and enthusiasts along the way.
